Boxing day sale madness

Hey guys! It was boxing day yesterday!! Now, we all know how crazy I am about shopping!! Okay, if you didn't know that then now you do... Anyway, we went to next yesterday! And we bought A LOT, let me tell you that. Spent about £600... now we're gonna return about £400 of it! I got some pretty awesome clothes, but best of all, I also got things that I love, like I got: an umbrella (yayyy!); some mini speakers (shaped like a cat); a pair of pink fluffy ear-muff headphones, and an IPod case! Well, I am a teeny bit crazy so I absolutely adore these type of things, I mean, come on, I spent most of my money in the summer holidays on keychains, phone charms and wallets!! (hint hint for my birthday in march ;D) Anyway, today is the Marks & Spencer sale, but I am home so I have to keep waiting for my parents to return... let's hope they know how crazy I am... ;)

Winter!

Snow! Lights! Coats! Holidays! Right. The only thing i got this year from december was sun, rain, wind, and school. Don't worry- i still got my winter vacations...but no snow :( oh well... Still, i'm just happy i got my ipod back, now i can spend the day tweeting ;)
Anyway, you know the best thing about this time of year? Sales! Yep. They begin on monday. Boxing day sales for me are usually get up at 3 and buy the whole shop while starving, then return half the things. I do get a lot in sales though :)
Oh yeah! And one last thing, movies. See, the sky people like to spend the year showing rubbish movies and then when it comes to christmas, they show all the films that everyone's seen about 56 times. Ah well, at least they do show something :)

Hi guys! Wow... I haven't updated for aaaaages! Anyway, just to fill you in, i wanted to do a blog post. By the way, have I ever mentioned how much I love Mulan??? Because I am totally obsessed with that film!!

I am back to this world!!

I am back from my holidays! Missing pakistan sooo much! I miss sitting out with my cousins, i miss having sleepovers at the "air conditioning house", i miss how it used to get so hot that i would want to go take a shower with ice cubes, i miss how i could turn up upstairs and there would be something to do, i miss when my cousin was on holiday i could sit in her room and talk to her, i miss going and getting creative with another cousin's arty kit, i miss how i could lie there and listen to the sound of the fan or something... i miss karachi!!! It's nice to be back but i love going to meet my cousins!!!! I had so much fun that sometimes i got bored of it!! When i was there I even said how now i want to go back to England but now I don't think I ever wanted to get back so early!! Here, it's lonely. Here, it's silent. Here, it's cold. And mostly, here, it's depressing with social activity. I have to get on with school, I have to get on with my studies, and i have to get on with the life that people experience here. Karachi, and England are very different places.

Since the school ICT guys decided that blogger and tumblr should be blocked, and that we shouldn't get quota time to access those sites, I thought it would be nice to be good at something. I don't have enough felt for sewing, not enough inspiration for sketching something, so I though I should try my hand at Origami!

The weather, good, bad, terrible.

Hey all! =)
The weather has been...yeah you guessed it, good, bad and terrible.
Terrible because: It rained for days and days on no end (yeah, i know this is Britain, but still...summer is supposed to be sunny....), and I was going to walk home in the rain without my umbrella until my friend's dad saved us! YAY!
Good because: after all the terible rain, the sun finally came out!! It dried up everything and I was so happy to see it because it was the right temperature for this time of year!
Bad because: The sun which came out and dried eveything up is TOO bright. See, I have really bad eyesight problems (i'm short-sighted) and when it gets too bright I start seeing these black dots...weird, I know.

Outside, right now, it's 29 degrees! It's really, really hot. Well...I guess it's hotter in pakistan, but still!

Back to the other world...

Pfffffffff. My cousins left. They were going to leave at some point so I wasn't THAT sad. But they made my house so lively and there was always something to talk about. In fact, I used to sleep next to one of them and for the past two nights, i have been imangining she's right next to me in my sleep, and that i'm back on the same bed that i was on when they were here. Actually, I was even talking to her (and it turned out that she was talking to me, so it was like we were having a conversation in pur sleep! (btw, I was only saying stuff like "i really miss you but i'll see you soon")).
Now, it's school-depression-work-tv-sleep-eat-maybe feed the cat. Okay, I can talk to my parents but not at school right? To avoid depression when I have no-one to talk to at school, I am on the verge of new school friends! ^^ There are a couple of nice girls in my class so I'm trying to be friendlier towards them and they get the jist so they do the same back! ^^

Going to meet my cousins again on holiday anyway in a month, but that was the best month ever <3 <3 <3

Guess guess guess what????? okay, I'll tell you. My Cousins Are here!!!!!!!!!!!=D Both of them have blogs, this is angrybirdee's and this is CookieNF's. I am so so so so so excited i can barely stop thinking about them!

We'll be going many places when we have time (like weekends) and letting them try loads of yummylicious food.

Went to Hastings and Iman's house...showed them Sainsbury's too... will do more exciting things this weekend!

Free from exams...!

hey there! I am FREE from exams!!

No more tension! No hard pressure...

well, the exam results have pressure...got my physics test back today...

I got... 36 out of 50! Teacher said it was a good mark...

Had a mental maths test today... it was surprise... just when I thought I was free from exams...But it was "easish" or easy...Shaiban's level maths...



Me..........tired from exams...



also...I have a cold!!!! noooooo!!!! sneezing, coughing, tissue-using me officially has a cold...

Exam update!! Had chemistry today! It was easy!! (well, easier than I thought it would be) Then I had french... *boo hoo* :( It was the hardest, most diffiscultest test on the history of very hard french tests... I had to do my best and...



it was difficult...



Anyway, tried my best on the reading and wrote what I had previously written and memorized...

Next, geography... it's gonna be a hard one...

History yesterday was easy, btw... we got given the questions in advance.

EXAMS!!

Everyone has them, I do too, next week...

Yes, revision has taken over my spare time, my tv-watching time, and my last-bit-of-free-time time. For the past week, and this week, I have been revising, revising, and revising. I did science galore with my dad (who is a better teacher than my current science teachers)


Ugh. Exams. They suck. If only I had a memory chip instead of a small empty space next to my brain.

Oh yes, I also did go on a holiday, but I guess you'll have to wait a while for a blog post, I have to spend my time revising...
Anyway, more blog posts after the stress-week is all over!

Day-dream doodles

Maths books, random pages, small random doodles have spread all over my month. Hmm.. I might as well do something on illustrator for that.. ~be back in a min.

Mainly in my maths rough book I draw something like a strawberry and write Strawberry Avalanche lyrics underneath. It's an awesome song, by Owl City, and the tune is niiiiice :) .

I found loads of cool doodles on google images, and I was really jealous!! I guess I need a giant pad of paper to start doodling... might use something else for now, though...-_- plus I have a bunch of old books that are un-used from last year...better use them up...

Also, I kept seeing blog awards on people's blogs... I found it kinda cute =D

i feel like i'm random-rabbling...ah well...lets just hope readers will enjoy...

I really love reading people's blogs nowadays... so when I get time, I come up to the computer rooms and look at them... but today i seem to be here to ramble?!

Anyway, I have to go now, enjoy!! don't ask how the post went from doodlings to ramblings...and yay! maths next! i can sit there and talk to people about stuff while drawing stars and stuff...

A Terrible Day...

Today, was terrible. It started off okay in the morning what I came in to find that c.b was not in. I knew she was tired and all yesterday, as was I, but I thought she was at least going to text me first. Through the first three lessons, I was with other people except for in music where I had to sit and play the second page of Firflies by Owl City by myself in a small practice room. People were poking in, and I knew they were looking for a practice room, but if i gave mine up, what would I do? Anyway, Lunch was even worse. After standing in a queue for ages, I finally got to the hot-food server, only to find that the tomato pasta that I usually choose had sausages in. I can't eat the sausages at my school, so I had to tell the lady to give me the cheese pasta instead. It looked really terrible, but I couldn't change. I grabbed a chair and sat next to people from our class, and started eating the pasta. It was okay, but sloppy and cheesy and difficult to pick up. It was easy to chew so I ate half of it and threw the rest away. I know it seems like a waste, but it was really bad after a while and plus I wasn't hungry anymore and soonthe canteen wad being emptied. I was asked this morning when I woke up if I wanted a school lunch and I said no, so my mum started with my lunch box, and because I didn't want her to make extra stuff for me, I said that I would get a school lunch. I also have a Yazoo milkshake in my bag but i', not going to drink it yet. Because I made sacrifices for friends last year, when I chose to pick another girl that my friend wanted to be in the same class with instead of choosing one of my other friends, I'm now stuck with no other friends that are in my class except for one girl who I hang around with. That should be enough...I hope she reads this and realises what a terrible day I've had.

My birthday!!!

It was FINALLY my birthday a few days ago! I turned 14, not that big, sadly... I don't feel much older or look much older... i think...
Anyway! More about the birthday! Well, friday went quite badly despite me getting presents... only one... and plus I got my braces on that day too. The later after the dentist I was a bit tired and the braces hurt so I stayed home. Later, at 6pm, we were off to Blackburn. We met my relatives there and stayed for 2 days until sunday. And on sunday, we celebrated my birthday!! There was a marzipan-y cake that was really nice and soft (perfect for the current teeth situation of mine) and it had ribbon around it so i kept that. I got some clothes and jewellery on that day too.

But up until monday I've been having a really odd diet:
Friday: dinner- cornflakes with cold milk
Saturday: breakfast-ice-cream and tea with a bit of paratha, lunch- sandwich, dinner- er... nothing
Sunday: breakfast- Horlicks with hot milk, lunch- cake and fries, dinner-cold milk and two digestive biscuits.
see what I mean?? A weird diet!!
I've been having more normal stuff nowadays like rice with pieces of chicken and bread with tea in the mornings,
anyway, it turned out to be a good birthday in the end!!

By friend Aoi was really nice to me yesterday and it makes me feel bad that now she has to stay at school by herself and without the amazing me(!). I might be there tommorow....................

My new Arts Academy chip!

Guess what I finally got??? Arts Academy on ds!!! I'm really arty (although I can't say that I can draw, but I love art) and so i've been waiting a while for my dad to order it. Then the other day, he finally ordered it!! My brother was jealous... (because he didn't get a game)

I haven't opened it yet, but I think I shall be allowed to open it on the weekend! It's also part of my bday present (I'm waiting impatiently for 4th march).

A few new changes

I managed to sneak in a few new changes to my blog, like I changed the background and the title. I was initially going to put the background as:

But then it wouldn't let me, so I went into the template designer and chose a background image. Aoi says she prefers the blue one with the random doodles on it, but I think that would go well with one of my other blogs...
Also, I found out a new "season" is to be expected shortly...! It's going to be a seceret on this blog so far, but may be revealed later on! Also, I manage to go on other sites while i'm not checking twitter from yahoo or updating other blogs. Other sites like Tumblr are fun to go on, but thanks to the school network, I can't see many of the pictures people put on there. Soon i'm tempted to get TwitPic to post random clips on. Gosh... I've managed to pour a lot of words into this blog! It's been a while since I did a proper looong post like this! I keep meaning to put pictures of things I've made, like I made tomato soup for food-tech and then I made Rock cakes too, but I don't seem to have the right amount of time to take pictures because, well, everything gets eaten by the time I remember! Even when I do have the pictures on the computer, I only mainly get to go on blogger from school... Yeah. Excuses, excuses, my geograohy teacher hates them. Plus how did I get from writing about changes to writing about food???!! Changing the topic again... I was going to put a story on here... I think I might...
Anyway, just to end weirdly, that was a loong piece of writing!

The days wear on...

The days are wearing on, and months are coming and going...the year 2010 passed and 2011 is here. Each day comes and goes really quickly, and soon it's the weekend! Saturdays are normal, but Sundays are depressing, as the next day after that is Monday.

the new year

my year has been good so far, teachers say i'm good and some new surprises. I'm getting braces on my birthday, so that's nothing to look forward to. Plus my cousin got married, but i couldn;t make it to the wedding, but caught up with the pictures online. She seems really happy, so I guess i'm happy for her ^^
Also, winter is here! Some people love it, others hate it. I guess i'm in the middle... It's great with the snow but horrible with the rain. Sometimes I can't wait for summer, but that's the way life is...!
I also have my options this year. I think i'll take french... triple science is neccassary, and maybe art, drama, and history as the others. I'm hoping to be a doctor when I grow up, so I guess medicine will be what I'll be doing.
