Well hello there!! We went shopping the other day... it was a NIGHTMARE...not too literally...
we bought clothes, shoes, etc, etc, excetera...
but we had to wake up early, leave without breakfast, starve outside Next, and spend 6 hours starving and shopping...
ah well, only once a year, so at least it's worth it...

movies galore!

yaaay!! christmas time- lots and lots of movie time! there are about 3 movies a day, since the holidays started. Here are the movies I've been watching this whole time:

cooking pleasures yet sad days

nowadays i'm usually listening to Owl City songs, my favorites at the moment are fireflies, rainbow veins, cave in, butterfly wings...
my friend Aoi looked them up and now she's obsessed with them too! >.< "squeee!" as she says!
i've never really liked all the rubbishly and incredibly popular songs, etc a certain bieber.
i also like how Owl City songs are randomly put, i like it quite a lot ^^

no internet but happy snow!

At last! it was snowing in England in my area!! we had quite a lot! about...20cm, me thinks. on Wednesday i WAS going to make a quiche, and i even woke up thinking i was going to school! getting the ingredients ready was a hard task, but Ammi helped me, so i was alright. then while i was gazing at the snow waiting for my friend Aaleen, i was also wondering how i was going to school! but when i phoned up Aaleen, i found out there was no school! yaay! filled with delight, i skipped to my mother to tell her the joyful news. the break lasted till Friday, but after that the weekend arrived! with yet no Internet, i was sad and felt mainly bored, but soon my DS cured the infection (of boredom). 
anyway, i am very happy to have internet at school, but now i have to go! oh, and yes, by the way, i created a new blog, a doodle blog, where i shall be posting my doodles! if you would like to see it, click on this link.

hello kitty! and a few changes...

I've developed an obsession with hello kitty! She's so adorable!!! And so simple!! I found a hello kitty colour in page, and i filled it with colour using paint ^^. I'm going to try to put a pic of her on tumblr :D

My holidays spent with Ghufy :)

Hello!! My holidays are a mix of boredom, fun, relaxing, studying, and lots of ghufran!! (he's my baby brother)
Last week or so, my other brother's 11+ exam results came out...and guess what? He passed!!! :) =D
We immediately rushed off to Costco, where we bought him a psp 3000...i told him to get a nintendo dsi, but noooo, he wouldn't listen!! Psp's look really booooring and we've already got loads of DS games anyway...
Now he can't save his one psp game because he needs this USB thing...complicated stuffff :O
Anyway, Halloween is coming!! Woo hooo! I love the "scariness" of it! It looks awesome! My friend says last year she got leftover pumpkin inside and skin, and put them in starburst wrappers, and gave them to trick or treaters! Then she watched as they ate them..!
anyways, gotta go!

i finally updaaaate....

hey there!! i'm finally updating!! yaaaay!!!! right now i'm at my friend aaleen's house!!
its her birthday today, so i made her a cake!!!!

my weekend travelling...

On the weekend (some weekends back) we went to Devon!!
It's quite far away, about 5 hours drive, but we went anyway. It was really beautiful there!! Usually, you don't get sandy beaches in my area, but in the west of England, there are loads!!
We had fun walking beside the water, and then splashing about in the water...and then eating ice-cream!!
Staying in the travel-lodge was fun, too, as there was a big bed, and me and my brother had one family room to ourselves :) the other room was for my parents and my other brother...heh
we only stayed for about 2 nights, though..
the views at Devon were great, though! lots of countryside, sheep, cows, wild chickens, and small roads are what we got more often than beaches, though, but it was nice, as we got to experience what it was like for the peasants living there centuries ago... we were studying medieval England last year in history...
you can still see where their houses might have been, as there are still lines in between the fields.
anyway, we also went to Boscastle, in Cornwall. Ever eaten Cornish ice-cream? Well, that's where it comes from! It was another sandy beach in Cornwall, and my parents and my brother took off their shoes and went to walk beside the water, and soon enough they were rolling their jeans' up so that they could go in the water! Meanwhile, me and my toddler brother ghufran were drawing things in the wet sand! I made a cat, and a smilie, and then he kept dragging his foot around and making scribbles on the sandy floor. Then, we washed our hands, and went for the ever-famous Cornish ice-cream!! I chose chocolate, my dad chose honey and caramel, my mum went for strawberry, shaiban had mint choc-chip, and ghufran ate all 4 of our ice-creams, plus his own milky-ice-cream!!! anyway, after that, we went back, and packed our stuff up, as it was time to check-out, and drive home!!
it was a great trip to the west, but i think i like staying at home...

I heard about the Pakistan floods...so sad!!! It's every where- news, papers, chain mail! It's really very sad :'-(

Hello all!
I'm bored, so I wanted to update...
I get bored... A LOT!! But not always am I on the computer when I am bored...hehe
Anyway, since I have nothing to say, I shall tell a story!
It's about...well, i don't know!
Once upon a time, there lived a rat. He was called Hubert. Hubert the rat had a special gift, which was given to no other rat than himself. His gift was, that he was able to talk to humans. At first, this amazed all the other rats of garbage borough, but as many years passed, Hubert's gift became annoying. You see, Hubert started boasting about his gift as soon as he could speak. It was awfully boring listening to him, going on and on in English about things that other rats couldn't understand. This was because the rats in this story speak only in sniffs. But Hubert already knew how to speak English as soon as he was born. The real bore came to when he was old enough to speak in sniffs. He would say rude things to everyone in English, and then translated it to something nice. For example, when he would say ''you stink'' in English, he would translate it to ''you look gorgeous today''. As many years passed, Hubert lost more and more of his friends. This was because they didn't want to be friends with a show-off. Soon enough, everyone in garbage borough blocked their ears whenever Hubert walked past.


One day, Hubert was feeling very lonely. No one wanted to talk to him, so he'd gone back home to where there was no one to cover their ears. Suddenly, an idea struck him- if no rat would talk to him, then maybe humans would! Quick as a blink, he rushed out of his house, past the hugs garbage bins, which were like walls to garbage borough, and out of the alley where garbage borough was. Suddenly, Hubert felt like the smallest thing in the entire world. He was so used to everything being rat-sized, that the human world seemed like some kind of giant's world. He saw a human walking past, and immediately grabbed the human's hem of his jeans. He hung on until the massive leg stopped moving, and by then, he realised that the human had reached his or hers home.


"well, hello there" said a voice. A huge face appeared and suddenly Hubert realised that he was looking into the face of...a human! It took a while for the human and Hubert to introduce themselves.


You know, my hands are getting tired...i'm going to stop writing this story, but I hope you guys enjoyed it so far!

Bluebook and Rock cakes ;)

Hello again!!!
Sorry it's been a while since I updated :S
Anyway, I found out yesterday that the pictures I take on my mobile can be saved onto my o2 account. O2 is the mobile company thing I've got...they're the people I pay when I send a paid text...etc.
Anyway, I logged onto the computer and then went onto the o2 website to send a free text (o2 let you send 10 free texts each month if you sign up for thier website). Then at the corner of the page I noticed the bluebook link. When I clicked on it it took me to a page which had information on what bluebook is. Basically I can send all my pictures one by one to the given number (for free) and then all I had to to was check the messages (which were saved on my o2 account) which I had sent bluebook. I sent some pictures, and they came up really well! I also sent a video clip, and that came up too.
Anyways, less about that...

Yesterday I made rock cakes... If you search through my blog there should be a recipe on them. They turned out VERY well! But sadly, they finished quickly :(
I said some time ago I would post pictures of them, so here you go!

I put them in sillcone cup cases :P

Do they look nice? I think so!! :D

Sorry I haven't been able to update- I haven't had time to get on here!
Anyway, me not being to update means you guys can read loads about what happened! ^-^
Yesterday, I invited my friend Aaleen over. Together, we made a cake, and i'll try to load some pics of it...
the only bad thing about it is that my mum says it smells of eggs- eww!
I made some icing for it as well, it was basically sugar mixed up (so it was powdery) mixed with milk and spread over my cake :D
We had a dawat 2 days ago--it was...ok, i suppose. It would have been better if Iman had come over too (Iman is my other friend) but she was on holiday :S
Anyway, not too much about that, then!
Right now, Ghufran is using the table as a car race track...hehe

Hey again

Hi again!
Guess what? I was hoping to make some croissants, but the recipe is too long and difficult and needs more butter than I thought... But on the brighter side, I get to make a plain cake on monday!!! Woo hoo!!! I'll post some pics of it when it's ready to eat ;)
Anyway, that's all for now! Well, I suppose there might be some more updates later, but it's still morning here, and nothing that great has happened...
Hmmm...there isn't anything special going on today, because we're going to WHSmiths, then London (Eastham, I think) and so on... going there is SO BORING!!!!! Seriously...

I'm back :D

Hello again!!! Guess what? I'm back! From where? Remember my last post, where I said I went to buy some brioche rolls? Well, I'm back! And sadly, we didn't buy brioche rolls...but what we DID buy is...Croissants!!!!!!!!! Yay! You know, last time I went to Hastings, I had a croissant fresh from a local bakery, and after that, i've been pretty obsessed with them...
I even tried looking the recipe up ;)
It sounds kinda weird to me, but if you want to try it, here's the link. The bit about the all-purpose flour is weird, so I'm thinking of using plain flour instead...it's pretty much the same! WARNING: I HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET!! When I do, i'll make sure to post some pictures of it. :)
Other things i've been into are: cookies, making icing, plain cake, and raspberry buns (otherwise known as rock cakes).
The recipe for the raspberry buns is one I learnt at school, so my recipe isn't on the internet... at some point, i'll try to post pictures of my rock cakes ;)
If you want to try them, here's the recipe:

ingredients:

200g self-raising flour
75g butter/block margarine
100g sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoon milk


method:
1. Pre-heat oven to gas 6 200 degrees.
2. Sieve flour ( and cocoa and baking powder/spice if used) into a large mixing bowl
3. Cut butter or marg. into small cubes. Rub into dry ingredients using your fingertips until no more chunky lumps of butter can be felt.
4. Add sugar (and any other additional ingredients: chocolate)
5. Break egg into a small bowl and beat lightly with a fork; add to mixture.
6. Add milk.
7. Stir to form a stiff dough, or use a hand mixture to mix until doungh becomes creamy-like.
8. Bake for 15-20 mins.
9. Enjoy, and don't tell this recipe to others :D

Hi again!
I can't believe it! This is my 3rd post today! Well, you can see how bored I get...
But you now, I keep getting lots of support from my 2 fave cousins (their names remain annonymous... O_o )

I really love blogging! It's kinda fun...well, if i created a blog, it must mean I like blogging, right?
Oh yea, I've gotten really lazy in these holidays, so if you guys ever see stuff like ''u no wat it's like?'',
it just means i'm being lazy using short-form (it's what I call using u instead of you). But hopefully, my laziness won't pester me while I write new posts...

Still, I'm wondering, HOW DO I INSERT SMILIES????????!!!!! *ahem* Sorry about that, but are there smilies on here? I mean, i love doing stuff like: ^-^ and =D and :) and etc, but do you get proper smilies on here?

And I get so excited when people tell me they've looked at my blog :) It means they don't think I'm boring...hehe. If I had the whole day, then I could probably post 45 new posts today...:P Oh yea, whose noticed I keep changing my font colour? I think it makes the page prettier :D And I also think writing in separate paragraphs (which are quite small) makes readers (not that i know any) and me want to read the post :D

Holidays

Hi again :)
I've been having holidays now...well, for two weeks...
You now that feeling? it's like, ''Yaaaaaay!!!!! Holidays!!!!'', and then when they come, the only thing you do is stay at home watching T.V and writing on facebook ''bored''...you know what it's like? Well, it's like that with me! Seriously...
But at least with all this free time I can update! So, I hope to be updating a lot now! =)
